FLASH: Slow down the cd-rom speed

Can anyone tell me if is possible to slow down the speed on the cd-rom

drive, when you put a cd-rom i a cd-drive it can start at one speed and by

auto slow down. i would like to start with a slow speed and keep it.

(This is for the cd busness card that sometimes makes a lot of noice when

insertet in a cd -rom drive.
