try within the movie clip GetProperty("",_name) it will return the instence
name of the movieclip...

Hello,

Is it possible to have a movieclip know the name of it's own instance
name - that is without me hardcoding it in.


I want to do a loadmovie from the frame script of an on stage
instance. of the movie clip. The loadmovie call is not actually
within the movieclip. I tried using '_name' in the parameters box but
the movie went insane.
