Maybe when Flash 5 comes out, you'll have a chance at getting this to work.
In my experience, getting Flash to manage 20 connected springs at a
reasonable frame rate involved a whole whack of stupidly complex maths.
Without decent maths, and given how slow ActionScript can be, I think you
have no chance at all.
