heh, this is funny, I got your reply before I ever even saw my message post
(as of this mailing, I still have not seen my message) I figured it out, you
can fire a tell target from a called function, and I have done it many
times, but I couldn't see what I was getting wrong, and conveniently forgot
that I had done that before :oP anywho, thank you for the quick response

You mean set a tell target within a subroutine? I think you have to be on
that movie level to call it... try load movie.
