Subject: RE: FLASH: DHTML hierarchial menus not overlapping flash movie

John,

We've come across this same thing and the only option we found that worked
while using Flash and DHTML was to use the IE IFRAME tag and set the WMODE
of the Flash movie to Transparent. Fortunately it's for a kiosk so the IE
only solution wasn't a problem.

HTH,
jb

Subject: FLASH: DHTML hierarchial menus not overlapping flash movie

Hi everyone, bit of a problem. I have DHTML mouseover menus which
which pull out when you click on them to show sub menus.

To the left of the menus is a flash banner which displays a countdown
clock.

Whenever the menu is pulled out however it goes behind the flash
movie. Is there any command i can set within the flash embeds tags
which makes the movie goto back or arrange back or something like
that or do the same in DHTML.

Would be very grateful for any help, thanks in advance, cheers, john.
