Flash 4 Magic -

I just started using it a week and a half ago and it has helped me a great deal with ActionScripting. It seems to be best example book I've come across if you're interested in programming in Flash.

The only drawback I've found is that is is just that --
an example book. It gives you the nuts and bolts of the script, but does not go very far in descibing why the parts work or how they interact. It is pretty much left to you to play with in order to really understand the mechanics.

It's also not a good primer on ActionScripting terms, their definitions and details. Flashkit has been helpful for me in this area:

Hope this gives you some insight,

Andrew
