Joe,

Some nice Flash effects. The shape tweening of your company name worked
fine. The "h" on the intro. page looks great there but it looks a little
ragged on the Flash page. Did you break apart the symbol in order to
move it and size it, which would not have been necessary? I like the
sphere buttons, too, although the curved space design that pops up with
the menu title doesn't grab me.

I wonder if the words "Flash Deprived" might sound condescending and
drive someone away. :-)

The height of the movie requires either scrolling or optimizing the
browser window to see it all at 800 x 600. How many of your users will
know how to collapse menu bars. Otherwise, they will need to scroll in
order to see the all-important menu selections.

Although it is not strictly a design issue, I cannot recommend too
strongly that you find someone who can edit your text. There are some
mis-spellings (see "opportunity" on the Response page, for example).
Also, the word "cause" on the Gallery page is not exactly appropriate
for a professional page, but if you must use it then spell it correctly
with the leading apostrophe ( 'cause ). And you are not consistent in
the use of your company name. I see Hype Sites, Hype sites, hypesites,
Hypesites, etc. I also believe that "Web" should be capitalized and
"e-mail" should be hyphenated -- but those issues are debatable.

Also a matter of personal taste -- I think it is a little unprofessional
to have "under construction" messages on a design site. On the Response
page, it is not necessary to tell us that something is lacking. Until
you add the form (or whatever you plan to do), just provide us with the
e-mail link. I would never have known that the page is incomplete until
you mentioned it. The same thing goes for the staff bios. Instead of
links to under construction pages, how about no links at all. It is
entirely reasonable to see your info on the site because you are top man
in the company. If you don't have as much info available about the rest
of your team, don't emphasise that fact with nearly blank pages saying
"coming soon." Just add one more line underneath each person's name with
a job title and that is all we need to know -- until the staff home
pages are ready.

(By the way. I like the shades each of you is sporting in your
individual pics. It is a little bit irreverent -- and irreverence is hot
right now!)

Ken
