I seem to remember these might have something to do with an extension
conflict. Have you tried rebooting w/o extensions and trying it again?
Also, trashing the Flash 4 prefs and rebooting the program is very
important. Make sure you quit Flash 4 before doing this, as well as having
your serial number handy upon relaunching the program.

You may want to give it more RAM than that, as well. Depends on what types
of media you work with - audio, QuickTime, etc.
