It works. This problem is solved. It had to do with buttons.
Deleting the button and dragging a new instance of the button on the
stage solved the problem.

That " ./ " isn't the culprit as long as your file is in the exact same
folder as the swf.

Maybe you accidentally have a different button instance which doesn't have
the correct action assigned to it at those other screens(Im assuming you
mean other screens in your movie)

Is it in fact 'htm' and not 'html'?

That's all I can spot that would be possibly wrong.

Yeah, I don't know about that "./" that you've got in front of the
filename. I know you can put it there for loading variables from a text
file from the same directory, but try it without for the getURL.
