FLASH: OT--need help with cookies

hello,


i have a problem regarding cookies. when a person comes to my website,

they get a pop up window. I want them to be able to click a link and

have a cookie prevent the window from popping up again....


the trick is that the link is in the pop up window and not the main

window....how do i click a link and have it tell the main

window...."hey, don't pop this thing up again"...
