FLASH: Coloring instances within an MC thru AS

Hi Flashers


I'm creating a site where animated characters walk around. The only

difference between the character is their body color.

Now I have created all base movement the little guys must do (waiting,

walking straight, walking sidewards etc.) and

bandwith is doing very well.. now if I create all movements for all 8

"different" guys I'll be drowing in Kbites!! Now I was

wondering if there was a way to call them as tell target a color their

bodies (6 instances within the MC) via AS. Hands & feet

always keep their original color.. so only body, eyes, mouth etc. have

to be colorised. I thought that maybe something in the style

"tell target /bla bla ; go to frame blabla ; set property of instance

"eyes".. etc.".. anyone can help me here?

(actually there is another difference between the guys.. they also have

a Letter on their body... the lette must change also according to

which guy is activated.. maybe a textfiel & load variable??)
