Try resaving the .fla with a new name using Save As and then generate a
new .swf. That usually works (as recommended in a macromedia technote).
You can always rename it back to the original if you want. A similar
method that has worked for me is to copy all frames in a movie and then
paste them into a brand new movie. In case you're wondering, this will
carry all your library items over to the new movie.
