Well, I answered my own question. ;-) In case anyone else is
interested, it tells you once you do an "add to my cart" that you need
to have Flash 2/3/4 or Freehand 7/8 (so the competitive part of the
question -- eg, would it work if you have Illustrator -- is not
relevant). So (JGL and anyone else like me who's been thinking it's
time to try out FH), if you're going to upgrade to Flash 5 anyway and
don't have FH9, it's only an additional $100 to get it...
