Subject: | FLASH: setting up a loop |

I am trying to set up a loop in a movie clip that will wait for different
amounts of time depending on the value of my variable. but I can not get it
to work. I have added the following scripts
FRAME 16 code
Set Variable: "counter" = 1
FRAME 17 code
If (counter < 100)
Go to Next Frame
Else
Go to and Play (19)
End If
FRAME 18 code
Set Variable: "counter" = counter + 1
Go to and Play (17)
I can not work out why this is not working. The movie ignores the code and
plays the movie as if there was nor code.
Can anyone tell me what's wrong with it?
thank you
