RE: FLASH: very basic flash question

make a 4 frame movie with 3 layers, 3 buttons, and a "mouse-over" red

graphic symbol.


label layer 1 as "stop actions"

label layer 2 as "highlights"

label layer 3 as "buttons"


on the "stop actions" layer, make 4 empty keyframes (F6) and make each of

the frames have a stop action on them.


on the "buttons" layer, place all 5 buttons however you want them arranged

on the page.

just make sure that the keyframe on the "buttons" layer stratches for all

frames in the movie.


on the "highlights" layer, frame 2, press the F6 button, then place 1

"mouse-over" Red graphic symbol on top of one of your buttons. then goto the

next frame and press F7


then do the same on a different button for frame 3...

repeat this until each frame has a different button highlighted, except

frame 1.


Then goto your "buttons" layer and double click on each button.. add the

"goto"  action.

the "goto" action will send the movie to the frame that highlights the

button you clicked.

When I click a button...how do I restore color?

for e.g I have  button blue when I click..I want it to be red....till I

click another button?...in html you can restore overstate image

also as remain same image display till user clicks another button...how to

sole this problem?
