Roger,
I don't know any thing about the two programs that you described. But, I do
know allot about a 3D animation software package that I use. It's called
"Animation Master" you can get it from www.hash.com I have not seen another
3D program that has as many functions and capabilities as this one, for
under $1000 that is. I runs about $300 and well worth every penny. It is
spline based rather than polygons, which is a plus. It renders stills or is
fully capable of animation. It has a bit of a learning curve to it, but I
love it and so does anyone who has tried it. It doesn't export directly to
flash, but practically no 3d program that is worth anything does. But with
some work you can get it into flash. In my humble opinion, check it out.
