Subject: FLASH: Flash 5 & QT
From: Dr. James K. Butler

I just received the announcement from Macromedia about Flash 5. After reading
through the new features I couldn't find the answer to this question so I was
wondering if anyone knows the answer.

Currently if you want to use QT with Flash the final export needs to be a
QuickTime movie rather than a SWF file. Will Flash 5 allow you to embed QT
movies into them and then allow you to export the final version as a SWF file or
does it still have to be a QT movie?
