Ok, I nailed down one problem with the Flash 5 player or my programming

skills - not sure which yet.


On IE5, I installed the Flash5 player. NS4 still has Flash4 player.


The url below has a scrollable list of loaded data. With IE5/F5Player, it

doesn't work right. With NS4/F4Player, it works fine.

You can see how that list was constructed and the fla is available too.

Convenient!


Is it my method that's flawed or is this a bug.

Anyone else seeing Flash5 Player crashing their Flash 4 web site?


The first Flash4 site I developed (launched in April this year) won't play.

It hangs at the same spot every time. Not only does it hang, it freezes the

browser(IE5Win98PIII). Maybe I just have too much going on at that spot. All

kinds of data is being displayed at that point with many movie clips

simultaneously doing various things.


All my other flash4 projects play fine although the new player is much

faster. I guess I need to slow the frame rate down some.


Is there a list of issues somewhere or am I the first one to notice

something like this.
