Hi Diana,
It is simple and a common question. Just tell target the main time
line by using a forward slash. So in the target box type a / .
the select go to and type in the label name.

> This is probably a really simple question for all of you, but for
some reason I can't figure it out. I have a button that is in a movie
clip, and this movie clip is on the main time line. What I need to
happen is that when the user clicks that button it tells the main time
line to go to the Label "Level 2" How do I tell the button to do
this? Is it some syntax in Tell Target that I don't know? It seems
that I can't get this button in the movie clip to communicate with the
main timeline.
