Most likely this is not a problem. EPS files usually include a vector

portion and a raster (bitmap) portion. If you did not lose any of your

image Flash probably just didn't import the raster image.

To export from Freehand 8 you should export as Flash (.swf) (as j.d.

already pointed out). For older versions and other vector programs

generally use .ai instead of .eps for the above reasons. Note, there is

a version of eps that doesn't include a raster component (probably the

last in your list).
