PNG is a lossless format so is quite suitable for transport from
Fireworks to Flash.
If you don't check Indexed Color there will be nochange in the image in
Fireworks and the one received in Flash.

If the original was not a jpeg you would likely get a better image
quality if you went back to the uncompressed pix and export in a
lossless format, then process it in Fireworks and transfer to Flash as
png (non-indexed), bmp or pist file.
