Not exactly the same, but I did have a flash drawn graphic which became
corrupted. I narrowed it down to one piece of artwork (the .fla would bomb
on my mac every time I either touched it or went to a frame which contained
it.)

Incidentally, if I doubleclicked the icon of the .fla to open it my computer
froze, however if I launched flash first and then opened the .fla via the
menus, it opened (apparently) normally.

I made a new file and opened the damaged .fla as a library and transferred
everything across. Yes I did have to copy and paste a lot of frames.

but I salvaged most of it.
