Sorry, but not all browsers let JavaScript control audio.

You can get a bit more universality by having JavaScript call Flash to play
audio, but even so things like IE/Mac won't pass messages from JavaScript
to any plugin.

The most universal solution is to put both the audio and the interactivity
in Flash, so you're not relying on the various browsers for this.
