Subject: FLASH: loading variables
From: T.R. Henigson

Before I write my PHP code, I wanted to make sure I could load
variables from a text file so I put a very simple file together
(one variable assignment) and tried to load it with a button
action on my local drive (from the same directory the .swf file
is in. I got the following error:

Error opening URL "E:\Active\test.txt"

I am running this locally on an NT box. I uploaded the .swf, .html
and .txt files to my Apache server but didn't have any luck getting
the variable to load. Do you have any ideas / need more information?

Ted
