Have you down loaded the Flash patch for the Mac? I had problems with Flash on my new Mac Laptop too when I first installed it. Now, after the patch no problem.

Subject: FLASH: Flash Authoring on a Mac G4

Hello all!

Well, I broke down and got a tricked out Mac G4500. It's got 512 Meg o'Ram, 40 GB worth of hard
drive space, a 32 Meg video card, and twin 19" monitors. I loaded all of the latest Macromedia
software (including updates and such from the site). The end result being....... FLASH RUNS LIKE
CRAP!!!! I've dedicated over 5o meg o'Ram to the bloody thing adn it STILL crashes from type 1
errors. It takes FOREVER to process ANYTHING. I mean, my PII 450 kicks its ass in EVERY Flash
function... on the same files!!!!

Does anybody have any ideas as to why this is happening?

Patrick

PS- Let's try to keep the anti-Mac flames down to a dull roar when responding, please.
