No you shouldn't.
Unless of course you both previously agreed upon it. And this
agreement should increase the price considerably. (double? triple??)
I always state explicitly that the client doesn't buy a file but a
_licence_ to use the file for a specific purpose. Formally all
materials stay mine, they can use it for the intended purpose but
they are not entitled to alter it in any way. Also I insist on being
recognized as the author when published.
When they ask for it, they get an exclusive right to publish. On
republishing I'm entitled to a copyrights fee.
My experience is that I almost never have problems with this. In the
contrary it is considered as a part of a professional attitude.
