Well, one place you might want to look for pie charts is in Flash 4 Magic. I
developed and Chrissy Rey wrote up the chapter in there about the
interactive poll, which happens to make a pie chart.

As for line charts, that just uses a basic line library (Just draws a line
from one point to another, you can find at least one at www.flashkit.com)
and combines that with some data read in from an external file. Its a
*ROYAL* pain to code, but you can do it.

Subject: FLASH: Plotting Points/Charting...

Hello folks...

Has anyone had to feed into a .swf some variables from an external source
and then chart out a line graph or chart? NOT with Generator, but simply
with Flash.

I know that not-so-long ago, I had begun to fiddle with this, but I'm
swamped in the middle of a client debacle and they've thrown this nugget on
the table.

Anyone able to give me a headstart as to where to look, even?

Thanks,

Russ
