Any export-to-video codec from Flash will not animate movie clips. You have
to turn them into graphics.

Subject: FLASH: Flash to avi problems
Hi list,
I work on a Mac as a rule, but I switched my file to the PC because I
needed to export an avi from Flash, and now I'm having some problems.
First, the avi's bitmap quality is poor, despite turning on smoothing and
setting my image properties to lossless (images look great as swf or mov).
Second, the entire Flash animation consists of a looping MC in one frame,
but the avi won't play the darned thing! Putting the MC's layers onto the
main timeline allowed the movie to play, but then it wouldn't loop!
What's the solution, folks? Export from Flash as a mov, take it into
Premiere and re-export to avi? Have another go at it on the PC? Will it
loop? Will the bitmaps improve?
Oh dear export experts, I entreat you....
Thenkew,
Hal
