For the swf in the table on this page... http//www.zombiecult.com/split.htm
..., I set the movie size in Flash to match the table dimensions, published
the file, then copied all the object code from the generated html file into
the table. It was quick and easy.

Hi Gabriel,
This is just a Flash/HMTL compatibility issue. When you put a SWF into a
table
cell, you must specify the SWF's dimensions explicitly in pixels, percent
doesn't work (it shows up really really tiny doesn't it?). I'm not exactly
sure
why this is but I think the percentage specification relies on the browser
window's size and once you put it into a table cell it gets confused with
the
size of the table cell vs. the size of the browser window. Thinking in HTML
terms, embedded media such as gifs, jpegs, quicktimes, etc. never scaled, so
the
only thing that was made to adjust dynamically (other than tables & frames)
is
text -- maybe this is a limitation in the foundations of HTML rendering. If
anybody knows of a more accurate explanation of what causes this, please
edify
us.
So, if you want your movie to scale, take it out of the table somehow.
Otherwise
use fixed dimensions.
HTH,
Randy
