Subject: FLASH: Primitive problem

I have a primitive problem (because I'm at a primitive level with Flash) for which I hope someone on the list has a primitive solution...

I'm trying to implement the no-Java Flash player sniffer as detailed in the Flash tech notes. It seems to operate as advertised - if player found - executes Flash site - else - executes www.ushippies.com/NoFlash.html That works fine for both Netscape 4.7.5 & IE 5.

The extremely exasperating problem I'm having is that the Flash_get.gif graphic shows in Netscape but not in IE. The link works correctly - just no graphic.

The page was built in Dreamweaver. Nothing fancy. Flash_get.gif is located on the top level of my site directory.

Any ideas what's wrong?
