Subject: FLASH: Flash Form Help and Advice required

Hello List
I hope that you can advise me on some problems I'm having with Forms

I've set up small nine field form that collects name, position, company, tel number and another five fields to gather some of the users text data. Out IT guy has given me a path to call the CGI script and hopefully everything should work fine but my questions are:

1) Do I really need to use a CGI script? Can't I just get Flash to send the data as an email to the end-receiver?

2) Will the company I'm doing this for be able to tell where the e-mail has come from and be able to e-mail them back? Or do I have to somehow set up an invisible variable (Technote 13919) to get the user e-mail address? And how exactly do I do that? The technote explains how its done in HTML but not Flash.

3) When I post the data to the CGI script should I have flash wait for a message to confirm the posting or just whip the user away to a screen that says 'Thank-you' anyway?

I'd appreciate any help at all.

Gez Out
