Some servers, when accessing via ftp take you direct to the Public Docs
Folder. Others drop you in at the top level. While even others put you at a
level above your own requiring you to navigate first to your folder, then to
your public docs, html or what ever it may be called.
By default, most servers will access the index.html or index.htm when
accessing the server via a web browser by typing in the
http://www.domainname.com . This usually can be configured differently.
The trick in establishing hierachy is to find the index html. Everything
else can be set relative to that position. Just as Windows Explorer sets
folders on a windows machine.
http://www.domainname.com will access the index.htm
http://www.domainname.com/folder
will access a folder parallel to index.html. Plus it will look for
index.html in that folder. If not there, you may get a 404 error.
http://www.domainname.com/folder/page.html will access page.html in folder.
Not sure if that's what you are looking for.

I am having difficulty establishing the proper directory hierarchy I need to
use to access a document in my clients' web account.
I have gotten this to work just fine on my site - probably because I know
the route - but my clients' has me befuddled.
Can anyone help me out here with a process to determine the right route?
Yeah, it oughta be easy, but I've tried four different versions and none of
them work.
