Actually, with Flash alone, you can load in data but not format it as such.
The only current way to dynamically put formatted text into Flash is with
Generator on the server.
Without Generator, you can certainly bring external text data into the Flash
movie, but in a text field, you are limited to one style - the style that
was created in that text field in the authoring environment. If the
characters are bold in that text field in author time, the text loading into
it at runtime will also be bold. Additionally, there's no underscore or
underline in Flash.
