Sidenote: Hardwired devices like these are a bit different from web
browsers which can download new software... Players are frozen into place
before the units are first released. This implies that the migration rate
to new players will be slower than for computers, because people will
actually need to replace the unit instead of just downloading a new plugin.
Knowing your audience will remain key into the future.
