Have the button start the movie clip, then on the movies clips 22 frame inse
rt a keyframe and have that keyframe start the last movie Clip. The reason y
our getting the error is that your computer is running the while loop tens o
f thousands of times a second. It wasn't written to support what you are try
ing to do.

I began to search the archive on this...but soon gave up after seeing there
were 21 pages alone of June posts...

I have a button which starts one movie clip, then I want it to watch that cl
ip til it gets to frame 22 and then start another clip. I am trying a While
Loop...but for some reason as soon as Flash starts to play the first target,
it then comes back and tells me that 200,000 operations have been performed
and that this is most likely an endless loop. If it would set variable insi
de of the loop, then it should escape the loop briefly. Anyone else tried t
his and have a better technique/hit the same snag? Action Script is below.
