There are no tools that I know of. Compression is based on the quality that
you would like to see in the movie. Such as, if you have music, it is going
to be big, no way around it except getting rid of the music. But you can set
the export to mp3, low quality, mono. This is compress you sound as best as
possible. Also, if you have a lot of bitmaps or a couple large bitmaps, by
reducing the quality of the bitmaps in the jpeg compression, this will
reduce the size. It is the game that every graphics artists plays when
dealing with the net. Where is the compression point where you get the
smallest file size with the least amount of image loss. There is no formula,
it's all a matter of personal preference versus experience. Play with it
till you get it the way you want it. As far as compression tools available,
Flash created the SWF format and they compress it better than anyone else.
