The path is relative only if you code it to be relative. That is, from a
movie clip on the main timeline, "../" and "/" are both referring to the
main timeline (the first one is relative, the second absolute) So, if you
have coded everything in that "loaded swf" as relative, then yes, it should
work. I personally usually "hard-code" the path when I'm doing a movie,
especially when I don't know at the time that I'll be using it inside
another movie later. Then I always have to go back in and change all the
path statements to make it work inside another movie.
So if your loaded movie had an internal Tell Target or reference to a
variable that referred to its own main timeline as "../" you'll be fine, but
if any of the code refers to a path with the hard-coded path statement
(starting with / rather than ..) then you'll have to change it.
