Subject: | FLASH: is this possible or is it wish list? |

If I could have anything in the world right now,
it would be this...
I want to be able to define the outside perimeter
of a flash file so that I can create an .swf with a
unique shape. I want to do this so that I can create
a remote control object that "floats" on the user's
desktop. For example, I want to say to Flash,
"Hey, use this circle as the shape of the file you
will output." Then, I could have a link from an HTML
page that would pull up circle.swf. This circle.swf
could be moved around on the screen.
I know this is a crazy monkey idea but would that
not be cool?
I was thinking that perhaps there was a way to
do it with dhtml. My initial questioning of our
dhtml experts tells me that it probably won't work
like that.
I know I could place an .swf file in a popup window
but i dont' want to see the browser at all so that is
not a solution for me.
I know I could create the site entirely in Flash and
do it that way but I believe I will not have the option
of building the entire site in Flash.
Anybody have any thoughts about how one could
accomplish something like that? And yes, ideally
it would be a multi-platform solution.
Thanks,
rachel
