In the flash movie place this action:

Get URL ("")

In director use this:

on exitFrame
go to the frame
end
on geturl
go to the frame +1
end

I have found flash to be quite slow in director though.
Hope this helps.

Subject: FLASH: flash movie in director

| Hi all,
|
| I have been away from the lsit for a while and I appoligize if my question
| is reduntant to previous disscusions here.
|
| We are working on a Flash 4 /Director presentation. The intro had to be
done
| in Director 7 to accomidate the quicktime video. We recreated the clients
| software demo screens in Flash to add more animation and audio cues. Thi
| flash peice is loaded into the director presentation as an SWF file. The
| frame ni director ha a "go the frame" script to keep the timeline is place
| while the flash componet is plalying. We have now encountered the problem
of
| getting bakc into director for the extro. How do we let director know the
| flash piece is finished playing and to advance to the next frame?
|
| Any help would be greatly appreciated.
|
| thanks in advance
|
| cheers
| sherryl
