Anil,
I haven't used this myself but Macromedia has a technote about mailing in
Director with the Multiuser Xtra, did you try this?

Dear list
I am desiging an Interactive Cd-Rom where the user should be able to fill in
a form for subscription, with their appropriate details, and then by
clicking a button it should automatically send this form to a specfic e-mail
address, since director has no native functions that can handle processing
e-mail..and the client don`t want to pay extra money for buying DirectXtras
or use mailto: tag which will open default mail programme....client want to
send mail with in from director
