I don't know if Adobe tested against the free FlashWriter Export Plugin for
Illustrator 8 when they were developing Illustrator 9. I asked one of the
Adobe reps about any feature differences or other things customers should
know, and he merely said "we did SWF export right". Perhaps that means
breaking the old exporter, I'm not sure.... ;-)

I haven't seen reports from others with problems in using the plugin in
ILL9, although the Adobe folks would know best about whether their new app
is backwards-compatible with existing plugins. Sorry, best I've got is that
there's no firm bad news, if that weak context is of help.
