As far as we can tell so far, FlashWriter offers nothing additional that 

seems  needed with AI 9, but we didn't get that much chance to play with 

it, either, as AI 9 failed our QA here and we have not qualified it to go 

into the production pool as of this writing; our inclination at this 

point is to likely wait for the 9.0.1 update.


This QA, however, has only been performed on limited configs with OS 

9.0.x, we will be completing testing under prior OS' and hardware configs 

soon; as well as exploring for direct conflicts with 9.0.x under each 

piece of individual hardware. Stay tuned to MacFixIt.com for ours and 

other's reports.


(for those who've been paying attention to the 'Why our production Macs 

are bulletproof' reports, while other firms seem to crash with insane 

frequency, the reason lies in stringent QA within IT before it's allowed 

to even touch a production machine.)
