I've been lurking on this mailing list for approximately 8-10 months and what 

I've found is that everyone here, for the most part, provides excellent 

assistance, makes suggestions, and is generally here to support and learn 

from each other's flash experiences... 


Here's my public view of the Wayne/Andrew thread:

I thought I'd check out a "professional" site since Wayne felt that Andrew's 

early developmental concepts were not professional enough...  it's wayne's 

own www.accesson.net.  First and foremost, I loved your logo (acclogo.jpg) 

off the main index.html page.  I especially love the 

unreadable/undecipherable effect that you put on it.  Was it a photoshop 

effect?  What's photoshop you ask? Nevermind.  It was so pixelized and 

recompressed that I thought I forgot to put my contacts in this morning.

I didn't know the American Association of Retired People Who Call Themselves W

eb Developers Palm Springs Division (A.A.R.P.W.C.T.W.D.) gave out design 

awards... could you email me their address... I have a couple of sites my 

grandmother designed for her knitting club that I'd like to submit.

Come on Andrew, "rock" our flash world... Incorporate something like Wayne's 

Bingo site into Razorplane and I think you'll win Macromedia's Site of the 

Day.  If you include as many references to palm springs or images of palm 

springs... you may also win a prestigious web award from A.A.R.P.W.C.T.W.D.

Wayne, before you go and take out all your frustrations (it is that time of 

the month for you, nearing the end of June and all) on up and coming web 

designers... take a look in the mirror and make sure you are 100% sure that 

your site also contributes something worthwhile for the Flash world to look 

at.  Make sure your site's image "rocks" and "shows something of importance" 

to the overall development of Flash media on the web.


Andrew good work and good luck... if you ever get down about your work... 

take my advice go to the link below and laugh your ass off... if he makes a 7 

figure salary with that... imagine how much you can demand...  :)
