FLASH: Flash: ATTN: To ALL Flashers!

Dear Sirs or Madams,

    Examples like your sites are the reason that I got involved with Flash!  While we spend our time surfing through the dark ages of web sites, some people have hunkered down to bring us into the new Millinium!  I am admittedly still trying to break out into that new age of sites, and a certain worship has developed on my side for people who are already there. Much kudos to your initiative and drive!

    For us struggling to bring up the rear, we salute you!

    A note about this scathing Andrew/Townsend thread: This would be the only reason for myself and others to leave the Flasher mailgroup for good.  I entered this group to recieve help/tips/tricks and perhaps donate something good to the world of Flash.  The sites that I have witnessed here are the cream of the crop, whether large or small.

    Every post brings us closer to the next level.  When we start to bicker amongst ourselves over what is "worthy" of posting up for site checks, we begin to undermine the very reason that this group was made.

    We learned something a long time ago, and I think some people are forgetting it in this new world: "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all"  If you don't think that you can constructively critisize a site, then maybe you should just bite your lip or offer a small tidbit of advice... DON'T FLAME, you'll only get burned.


I advise an end to this Thread, it does nothing for mine or others 

skills, and only tests my patience.
