Subject: FLASH: dynamic modify mask?
From: Brad Merritt

I am trying to create a dynamic mask.
I have up to 6 buttons, this number is determined by a variable loaded from
a txt file. The movie sets the visibility of the buttons depending on many
there should be.
There are corresponding masks that mask images for the buttons. I am trying
to only have the areas masked for the visible buttons.

I have tried:
1. Multiframe MC with the masks in frames (frame 1 = 1 mask, frame 2 = 2
masks, etc)
2. Set the VISIBILITY of MCs on the mask layer and MCs in a MC on the mask
layer
3. Have a 1 mask MC that duplicates itself. (knew it wouldn't work, but
worth a try)

Any ideas?
