josh has a fla download i think tucked away
at praystation.com

The technique uses an mc which has two frames.
In frame one there's a 45 degree line which stretches
from the upperleft to the lower right, and
in the second frame a line which stretches from
upper right to lower left.

from there, it's all math and actionscript.
(and relatively easy math at that)

You can set the height and width on this clip to get all the other angles
you need (just try it and see), and position it to achieve the proper
delta x and delta y. duplicate the clip to get multiple lines. etc etc

make sense?
