Thanks for posting this -- it's a good example of how to create and
format something so you can read it into Flash as one large
already-formatted variable. I think you should expand the paragraph
that talks about encoding though to explain why you do that. Something
like "First, create the excel file with the data you want to display.
Then think about how you would like the data to be displayed in Flash.
Add columns to your spreadsheet as necessary to create this formatting.
For example, we added a column with %0D%20%20%20 after the first column
to insert a carriage return (or linefeed or whatever it is) and three
spaces before the information in the next column is printed." It's
pretty clear once you look at the fla and the excel file what you're
doing, but not when you first look at the page. OK, taking off my
teacher hat and going back to work now... Thanks for taking the time to
create this example; I think it'll be useful to many people.
