If you are trying to drag bitmaps from the library to the stage, and they're

not falling into place, then indeed, it does sound like you have the dreaded

drag'n'drop Mac bug.


This is an OS9 issue that affects more than just Flash; essentially, any

program that uses draggable items will be affected. 


I dunno if or when Apple will address this - there has been a fair amount of

discussion on it in public forums. The only way I know to cure it is to

reinstall OS9, but that may or may not seem like a solution. See this
