Sure, I've captured Flash .swf files straight from the Netscape browser
(through Document Info). But why worry? If you spend tons of energy
considering site theft, it just takes away from the creative part. Besides
that's one of the great things about the Web--There are few trade
secrets--our work is an open book to others. This helps learning and
progress.
Still haven't been able to open a .swf file in Flash. ;)
