Right on!  I mean it's been said that text is already a symbol, but if you

have to make it a "symbol-symbol" in order to fade or change tint, then is it

really a symbol?  (And ya know, if you look at the word "symbol" enough, it

doesn't look like a word in the English language.  Don't you hate it when that

happens?)
